What is FRP?

FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) is a composite material with improved strength by immersing glass fiber in resin and curing it.

We mainly manufacture bolts, nuts, and plates using high elastic modulus and tensile strength glass fiber and high weather resistance, and chemical resistant resin.

Low weight, Easy handling,
and High Tensile Strength
FiReP bar has double the strength of normal steel, but the weight is only a quarter of steel. FiReP® profiles are produced in a pultrusion process using high-quality glass fibers, having a high fiber content of about 80%. The glass fibers are embedded in either Polyester-, Vinyl ester- or Epoxy resin matrix. This gives the rod a high tensile strength, especially in the longitudinal direction. The resin matrix fixes and protects the glass fibers. For rock bolts, an immediate load-bearing capacity can be developed with fast resin capsules due to the high tensile strength of the bolt.
High durability, corrosion-resistant
Corrosion in steel rebars leads directly to damage of the concrete itself, significantly reducing the quality of life in the built environment. And furthermore, we must remember that steel corrosion can be cause of increase of CO2 Emission and will influence on the natural environment.
FiReP FRP rods can offer environment friendly solution and propose significant repair and maintenance cost reduction.
High responsiveness and applicability
FiReP Rebar product range offers many different shapes of 2D and 3D elements, that all shapes known from steel reinforcement can be produced.
